Meet Our Director
Gary Rodak, Director – Machining Process Optimization, offers our clients over 35 years experience in machining processes, tool wear, tool design, cycle time, metalworking fluids, filtration, metallurgy, and machine tools. Gary has been active in the metal cutting industry as a field engineer and technical service department manager for metalworking fluid formulators, tool designer, quality manager, product development manager and chemical commodity program manager.
As our Machining Process Optimization Director, Gary will lead the group’s efforts for developing programs to address cost savings and training. These programs offer process managers the guidance needed to improve the cost and performance of any metal cutting operation. An example of Gary's industry recognition is that he presents the "Machining Process Optimization Program" at the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center every year.
Gary holds a BSME from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is certified through SME as a Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) and through STLE as a Metalworking Fluid Specialist (CMFS).
He is a member of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers educational subcommittee and proctor of several training modules for their certification program. His background as a Lead Auditor for a chemical manufacturer and developer of Chemical Management Programs enables him to assess sub-optimized practices in manufacturing operations.
Gary stays involved with education by holding several seminars each year at the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Plymouth, MI on optimizing machining processes.
